Registration
- All riders must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- Participation is confirmed only after successful payment and verification.
- Royal Riders reserves the right to reject or cancel any registration without prior notice in case of false information or misconduct.
Safety & Responsibility
- Every participant must wear a helmet and follow traffic rules.
- Riders are responsible for their own safety, belongings, and vehicles during the ride.
- Royal Riders and organizers are not liable for any accident, injury, or loss during the event.
Code of Conduct
- Riders must maintain discipline and cooperate with event marshals and coordinators.
- Alcohol consumption, drugs, or any misconduct during the ride is strictly prohibited.
Event Changes
- The organizers reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel an event due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Media Consent
- By participating, you grant Royal Riders the right to use photos and videos captured during the event for promotional purposes.
Strava Connection (Optional)
- Some challenges and rider features use Strava activity data. Connecting Strava is optional unless a specific challenge requires it.
- To connect, you must log in to Royal Riders and complete Strava’s OAuth authorization. By approving access, you authorize Royal Riders to obtain and use athlete/activity data as described in our Privacy Policy, for daily activity tracking, challenges, statistics, and your rider history.
- We request Strava permission scope
activity:read_all. You control approval on Strava’s consent screen.
- You may disconnect Strava from your rider dashboard. Disconnecting revokes our ongoing API access (we attempt to revoke with Strava and clear stored tokens) and stops future sync. Previously synced activity history and challenge results may remain available on Royal Riders unless you request deletion under the Privacy Policy.
- Your use of Strava remains subject to Strava’s terms and policies. Royal Riders is not responsible for Strava service availability, accuracy of Strava data, or changes Strava makes to its API or permissions.
- Challenge leaderboards may display your name and challenge statistics derived from synced activities to other users of those challenge pages.
Agreement
By completing registration, you accept all the above terms and agree to abide by them. By connecting Strava, you also agree to the Strava-related terms in this document and the Strava sections of our Privacy Policy.
